I Got My Tickets, BITCH!

Tonight's the So You Think You Can Dance finale! I'm pretty sure Benji will win, which will be fine. But I'll still hold hope for a Travis upset!! At least I'll be able to see them in person! Last Saturday I attempted to purchase my tickets to their Tampa stop of their upcoming tour. After 1 1/2 hours of trying to get through, it sold out. But suprisingly, they opened up a SECOND show on the next evening! I jumped in and got great seats! The second show sold out a couple hours later. I'm really suprised how fast this tour is selling out. I think the organizers are surprised too. After tonight, I'll have to wait 2 months to see my favorite dancers. I'll just have to try not to channel my inner 14 year old girl when I'm at the show. Must be cool and respectable...

Oh, who am i kidding. This is going to be me!

Sizing up Big Brother

Taking a look at the remaining Big Brother 7 contestants...Janelle - She's a bit of a skank, but she's fun to root for. And she had a fuzzy pink Head of Household bedroom. Gotta love it!

Danielle - She's starting to show some strategy in her decisions. She's aligning herself with the right people to stay in the game. Girlfriend spent a night last week in solitary confinement as part of the veto competition. She's tough! But she got rid of Kaysar. EVIL woman!

James - he's doing the same thing as last season, playing both sides. He didn't get too far doing it last year, and probably won't this year. And he wanted Kaysar and his sexy shaved head out. BOO!

Marcellas - He's his usual sassy, queeny self. Everyone's gunning for him now, so he won't last long. He's too emotional (i.e. DRAMA QUEEN) and it gets him into trouble.

Erika - Who??? nuff said...

Howie - Ick! He's just gross. All he does is eat and flirt. Which normally are two pretty fun things. But not when you look like him! And don't get me started on the Jack Shack. (If you don't watch the live feeds, it's the box in their backyard where he...er...does some self-gratification...)

Kaysar - Even though he's already been evicted, he still gets a special mention because of his sexy shaved-head self! Why did he have to go!!

Chicken George - um...why?

Mike Boogie - I still can't get past him being called Boogie. What, isn't he about 40?? He's just a puppet for Will. He thinks he's in control, but he really isn't. Plus he has a frequent stay pass for the Jack Shack.

That leaves Will. I love that Will doesn't really care whether he wins or not. And yet he has the best strategy of anyone in the house. He's the only contestant who's a previous winner, and yet nobody wants to vote him out. He really deserves to win again this year. And the way these idiotic contestants are acting, they just may let him. Oh, but one suggestion dear Will....Get A Haircut Already!!

TRANJI IN THE HOUSE!!!

Performance finale tonight! Woo hoo! Awesome night! I can't believe this is the last performance show. Oh, where to begin. Lets see, first up was Travis and Heidi doing disco. They were shakin their groove thing alright! All the judges loved them. They praised Heidi for mastering that style of disco and Travis for making all those powerful lifts with ease.

Next we got Benji and Donyelle doing the Vienese Waltz. They looked pretty good. However, all the judges hated it. They said their dance style was bad and not worthy of being on the finale. Ouch. I guess I don't know ballroom well enough to have caught all those errors.

I'll pass over the movie premiere segment. Another shameless promotional plug. Next dance was TRANJI!! Travis and Benji. Oh boy. My video capture device will be smoking after this. Let's go! Out come the geeks. Nice tape on their glasses. Then they got all freaky! Hell yeah!! They got screams from two judges.

Whoa...ok, now where was I...oh yeah, there were other dances. Next up was Travis' solo. And he's still bendy!

Next up was Heidi and Donyelle doing Broadway and wearing some big ass white eyelashes. What were they thinking! Nigel didn't think they captured the spirit of the dance piece. They need to capture some tweezers and pull out those eyelashes!

Up next we got a contemporary number with Travis and Donyelle to Georgia On My Mind with them dressed like some hicks with a piece of straw in Travis' mouth through the whole thing. Should've know this one was choreographed by Mia. But it was real good! Check out Donyelle's pigtails! LOL!

Next up was Benji and Heidi doing salsa. This is similar to their normal dance styles, so it was great like it always is when these two dance together.

Finally, was the pop group number choreographed by Wade Robson with them all playing models on the runway. Another cool one. The judges said Travis stole the spotlight!!

Arrrgh! I gotta go until next week for the results. I'm guessing Benji has this all wrapped up, but we'll see. I'm off to vote for Travis!

Tonight! SYTYCD

TONIGHT!

Kyle XY

Yesterday was another new episode of Kyle XY on ABC Family channel. This show is very intriguing. Trying to figure out who Kyle is (Matt Dallas, left). Is he an alien, a genetically engineered boy, or just a hot guy? Hmm. I'll go for the last choice! I would guess the character is some genetically perfect person who was set loose in a regular town to help condition (program) it on how to act like a regular person.

Also on the show is Chris Olivero as Declan. He plays the sometimes-boyfriend of the daughter of the house Kyle stays at. I have a feeling his character is more shady than it appears.

Then there's Krycek. Well, he was Krycek in X-Files. Nicholas Lea plays the Mystery Man who is secretly watching Kyle. He has hidden cameras in the house secretly watching Kyle in his bedroom. That's perv-o-licious! hmm...I wonder if I can get his video feed on satellite...but I digress...

This week, Kyle learns to play basketball and used his genetically engineered skills to master it and becomes the star of the local basketball team. He sure knew how to handle his balls...um...on the court. While the show has a lot of intriguing plot lines, it IS ABC Family channel, so that means a lot of feel-good lessons are learned each episode. DULL! I wanna see the episode where Kyle watches Pretty Woman on TV and decides to become a male prostitute for the week and ho' it up around town, with girls, guys, whateva! Well, I don't see ABC Family greenlighting that idea. But if they did, they could still end it with a feel-good lesson learned. I can hear the mother now..."Kyle, bitch you gonna be turning tricks in my house, you better be charging at least $500 per hour. We gotta pay this damn mortgage you know, you stank ho!". Whoa, I just turned the mother into his pimp. Now there's a plot twist! I'll have to send that idea off to ABC Family...

Don Juan Dracula: They have fangs, but they don't suck!

I caught wind of a band while listening to one of my podcasts. They are Don Juan Dracula from Norway. Cool name. They have a very strong 80's sound to them which I think is awesome, that is if you liked 80's music. It's like going on a time warp. They actually broke up in January this year, but some Australian guy recently talked them into reforming and is now promoting them around the world. I love their little 80's toy sounds they have in many of their songs, like the Speak and Spell. That toy both taught me and called me out for the fool I am when I couldn't spell the words.

You can check them out on their MySpace page at:

It's a Bird, It's a Plane...It's Fat Momma!

Ok, so there's nothing on TV and I turn on Who Wants To Be A Superhero? on SciFi channel. I was saying to someone the other day that I think I've seen every possible type of reality show, then I see this. So they're looking for the best superhero eh? Let's take a look at some of the contestants, shall we?

We got Monkey Woman. She's got a belt with banana-shaped weapons. Her vulnerability is the sound of music boxes and calliope organs. Ok...

Then there's Cell Phone Girl. She can take digital photos with her eyes. Her vulnerability is when she's in an area with no cellphone service. heh. Well honey, stay away from T-Mobile. You'd be dead for sure!

We got Fat Momma. She's got a belt with donuts on it and gets her powers from eating donuts. She grows to 5 times her normal size when angry. She must be real angry all the time then. Her vulnerability is diet foods. I know where you're comin' from sista, me too.

Feedback gets his powers from video games he plays. His vulnerability is that powerlines give him a headache, and apparently bad hair.

So far, they had a couple of missions. One was to run to a finish line and be aware of a lost crying little girl as they pass by and help her. Oh please...give the little bitch a cell phone. Hey, there's something for Cell Phone Girl to do. Then they had to open a back door of a house of some old woman who got locked out of her house. But they have to get past a couple attack dogs. Fat Momma tries to distract the dogs with her donuts, but apparently the dogs are on Atkins and just wants the meat..er..blubber. I say tell the old hag to get a spare key and stop whining. Hmm. That gives me an idea. I should enter the next competition as Attitude Man. My powers are the ability to make people cry with my wit. My vulnerabilities are polyester and wearing anything off the sale rack. I think I might watch this a couple times more to see if Fat Momma saves the day...or eats the other contestants.

SYTYCD - Results - 8/3

What a cool opening routine to a song by Imogene Heap. This was one of my favorites. They got all goth looking with their names in big letters on their clothes. Because..um..in case they forget their names??

Why, hello boys...

Travis did his solo and got nothing but praise from the judges. Nigel says if they were looking for the best technical dancer, he would win easily. Mia said that it would be a priviledge for her to hire him and work with him for the rest of her career. Hell yeah!

After Benji's solo, Mia says he had a lot of limitations when she worked with him but that he is a star. Nigel says if they were looking for the best performing dancer, he would be the winner.

Final three girls. Heidi and Donyelle move on to the finals. Natalie goes home. I loved Natalie and hate to see her go. Sorry Donyelle, but you really shouldn't still be here, but you got that Benji vote still working for you.

Final three guys. You can see Travis sweating.

They announce Travis is safe!! WOOT! I just love Ivan's look he gives Travis when the announcement is made. He knows he's screwed. Sure enough, Ivan goes home. Sorry dear. There's always the roller disco on ice tour.

Best Couple of the Night!!

WORK IT!

Well, it's Wednesday. That means Dancing!! And look who was declared best couple of the night...Travis and Heidi! WOOT!

Travis' solo dance...He made sure everyone knew what number to dial to vote for him. It was written on his t-shirt. Silly Trav, you are such a tease!

Benji and Donyelle were good, but it seemed something was lacking. It was just ok. The judges weren't as thrilled either as they usually are.

Forget Lucky Charms. Travis and Heidi's slow waltz was magically delicious!

Benji and Donyelle's hip hop was funky. Good performances and lots-o-booty shakin!

Travis and Heidi's Pop routine was called the best routine of the night and the best couple of the night! Woo hoo!

Poor ol' Ivan. The judges didn't like either of his dances. Guess he should've got out the roller skates again! His fan base needs to take a nap and not call.

I think I voted for Travis about 30 times. Go Trav! You better make it past this week!
